On the November 22 in Tokyo we delivered interpretation to 80 delegates attending the General Assembly of FEI, the International Equestrian Federation. The main language was English and participants used interpretation into French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic.
The interpreters were supplied by our UK partner Ubiqus and worked from booths set up in their London office. In addition to their traditional microphone and headset environment the Interpreters were also provided with a live video link from the event.
Sophie Ruiz, FEI Events Manager, Secretary General's Office:
“We would like to thank you for the collaboration for the translation of the FEI General Assembly 2016 in Tokyo (remark: 8 interpreters working remotely from London). We were happy with the result.
I listened to the French interpreter at the beginning of the meeting, during the opening speech and I have to say that I was surprised of the result, the time difference between the speech in Tokyo and the translation itself was very little and the translation quality was good.”
